To be honest, probably more than 80% of people studying with work orientation. Did that in fact it is this which resulted in several million college graduates to be unemployed? Did not rule out graduates is still unemployed, even cum laude predicate does not launch its former students easily get a job. It is time for distance learning education degree.

Have you thought that college was not for work? You went to college for fun; you went to college because it wanted to. Your college is to learn. Ever thought that the college and work are two different things? This often bothers me, when there are people who keep bothering me with the same question, “why should college, when do you work if you lecture on?” My answer was always the same “college because I wanted to learn, not to find work.”

Idealists! So the response of people around me, even my parents were not agreeing with my view. Almost all parents send their children to the level of S1 in the hope of working, which is then used by the college to offer an easy job after graduation.

Not infrequently when there are parents who asked me innocently, “my son going to college. What major should be taken in order to quickly work? “I also naively answered,” your child does not need lectures, selling pulse or open laundry instead directly succeed. “I tip sprayed with various nagging, which contains about lowly job, not the elite, and about the work that can not be relied upon. Yet if we look at reality, not infrequently S1 graduates who just finished artisans selling pulses, or just open a laundry business, keep what’s the difference with people who do not study and do business the same? The difference is they have to pay that much for tuition.

Precisely because more and more graduates of college, so the more that become unemployed because of growing job opportunities are not comparable with the development of college graduates each year. People who attended the orientation to work are almost certainly oriented to pass quickly with good grades, to be competent with other graduates in the future. This then resulted in some people justify a variety of ways to get good grades and pass quickly. Try it conducted a survey on how many students have never cheated or even gives the cheat during college until graduation. If there is, maybe the person has lied or that person is a person who needs to preserve rare.

It happened again. Today I received information on two separate learning events promised significant cognitive growth. A poet, inspection, these two ads to reinforce the reason why education is not for business. Let me explain. You probably know, without thinking, ie, 10 x 10. However, when asked what his response is 25 x 24 would not be so fast. The simple reason is they are 10 x 10 storage settled practice of the strategy. Now call distance learning by repetition of memory.

You can, however, answered only 25 x 24 or twice during their lifetime. They do not have many opportunities to respond to this issue to learn multiplication. Some companies training and development of industry and K-12 education industries, which promise to be honest behavior. The only problem is that this change is very short.

Remember back during his time at school and examination eternal. Pour over the books before the night, hoping that all critical information. At the time of trial, people remember only 50%, especially if this is your first contact with the material. They had a 50% chance of a good question right or not. In fact, the material was much better for the multiple choice and fill in the answers.

Research tells us that 16 days after a single exposure to a learning event, you remember only 2%. If not, the student multiple exposures, the information and have more opportunities to practice what you learn, not only keep. But to continue to acquire companies and organizations to provide curriculum, I can not repeat, can not deliver sustainable performance improvement.

To really change the behavior of individuals requires more than learning to read, test and then forgotten. We must learn from the perspective of the power to restructure the application of knowledge rather than the current perspectives of learning, knowledge acquisition. American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) to continue his research, that most training is not a positive return on investment reveal the offer. But companies are sending their people to a three-day seminars in business education, hoping to change behavior.

Let me ask you a question. How long it takes for the person you have become? Usually years, to respond. Like you can change the behavior in years 1 to 3 days? In short, you can not!

Perhaps the reason for the guidance and coaching business-off because many of the buses using a process of development, learning extends for weeks and months, not hours or days.

A few years ago, my coach and now friend David Herd Stay pioneered the concept of Kash Fund. I was renewed in K.A.S.H. Case for sustainable change. The key message is that if funds focused exclusively on the knowledge and skills, not attitudes and practices are not sustainable change, and return on investment. The money comes from K.A.S.H. ventilation box. When my husband said, is not a question of what to do that, but I will. be changed until the beliefs that are learning to change things, then we will experience less than positive performance of employees. This belief that learning to change behavior is the biggest obstacle to economic growth, without exception.

Save your money and invest in dollar extended learning engagement, a positive return on their education and training will provide U.S. $. Finally, remember that the brain can absorb what the butt will endure.

Plumbing is a very technical. While the action tends to increase the image in the eyes of our spirit of a great man, unattractive and overweight, which does not exist in the health department is ultimately an unfair trial. All kinds of people are plumbers, and does much more than toilets and sewers that snakes in people’s homes. It takes lots of training for work as a plumber, and when finished, you will be capable of a wide range of jobs and there is nothing that says you can not clean in the process.

Actually you can go to a corner of plumbing essentially academic success. While the profession requires a great amount of practical work, many intellectuals from all aspects. For training as a plumber, you really should understand some technical disciplines such as mathematics and chemistry. Moreover, many plumbers prefer to be independent and manage their own business, so it’s a good idea for a business of a few economics courses as well. By focusing on technical and business skills to high school, you will be in position once you graduate.

Of course, you can end a cycle of four years if you want, but not necessary. If you want to run as fast as possible is a better idea to subscribe to a high school education with vocational training that can teach the craft. Because you are enrolled in school, you will be able to take other classes, so that their study further business or any other aspect of the profession you want to know more about. A large number of schools offering vocational training courses also offer special activities designed to teach how to run build your own plumbing, electrical repairs and other home business. Obviously, you want the best plumber you can, you do not need the best to succeed if you understand the business aspects of everything.

Now, if you feel you have learned enough in high school and want to start working immediately, you can create a local contractor or other construction activities in the placement or apprenticeship in contact with them. This gives you the opportunity to work and get paid for employment and other aspects of the business of learning, while more practical training you need to be a plumber. Remember you do not need a degree to be a plumber, who just passed certification. Working on construction sites and as an excellent way to learn the necessary skills for the exam.

You can also intern at your local union, if you wish, but it’s a very competitive position to break, with only 1 in 20 applicants were selected. It is possible that a better and more specific information given to them, but one of these roads will help to train as a plumber well enough to be certified.

Micro Blogging is a form of Internet service that allows users short text or multimedia clips on the Internet to publish. As the name suggests, looks at microblogging blogging (keeping a blog), only in the case of micro-blogging services, the fragments are much smaller. Usually involves a single photo (with title or caption), or a small text message of no more than a few lines.

The most popular micro-blogging service is Twitter. Twitter is an internet service that allows users to publish short messages. It is a social networking site which people themselves, such as Facebook, a profile and an avatar to the cyclist. This site gives users the option of up to 140 characters to indicate what they do at a given moment. They can then subscribe to the updates from their contacts. Except to show what one does too many people use Twitter to share links, for example, make announcements and to ask questions to their friends or the public Internet in general (crowdsourcing). The Twitter service has many similarities with such status updates from Facebook and MySpace who what where. In a sense, these social networking and micro blogging are in addition to their other services. Services similar to Twitter include Jaiku, Pownce, Brightkite and identi.ca. Identi.ca is an open source social networking and microblogging service. The service uses Laconica, micro-blogging software that was built using the open microblogging specification. Users can send short text messages send up to 140 characters, similar to Twitter. This can be via a web browser, a mobile phone or otherwise. Identi.ca is in thirty different languages. Other examples of his lifestream microblogging services are Tumblr and Posterous Mobypicture and media services. This is brought to us by our friend, Jesse Willms.

There are three major reasons why every school district should offer strong vocational learning opportunities:

1. Vocational competence is critical to the economic health of our nation.

2. A significant number of students, both college-bound and non-college-bound, are experiential learners who will learn academic skills best from developing them in a career or application context.

3. Delaying the career or application context until after grade 12 lowers motivation and learning achievement for many experiential learners.

Consider these characteristics of experiential learners:

1. They are often as or even more capable of complex learning than traditional learners.

2. They learn academic skills best from concrete tasks and a focus on real-life problems.

3. They often do not work to their potential in the relatively abstract-linear environment of traditional classes.

So, not having vocational or career learning options is a major disservice to the many experiential learners in any school population.

Advantages of Career and Vocational Education

When strong vocational learning options are available in a school district, they present these advantages:

1. They help many experiential learners reach higher achievement levels. (Too few policymakers have given adequate attention to a major weakness of American public education – - lack of inclusion of a strong application component in learning programs. Refer to the work of Dr. William Daggett, president of the International Center for Leadership in Education, for solid research comparisons in this area. The Center’s web site is LeaderEd.com.)

2. Career path exploration helps many students make more information and dedicated choices on college enrollment. Students often discover the career path they love and are more motivated to pursue college study.

3. Career context makes subjects and courses more meaningful to students. Application adds to the strength of learning.

4. The career context makes it more feasible to teach and promote a continuous improvement culture in relation to the real world of work.

5. Strong secondary school vocational programs provide workplace skills to some students who do not plan to attend college immediately after graduation from high school. They also equip many college-bound students with skills useful in part-time work that helps in financing college study.

Evaluating Your Local Situation

Do you want to evaluate the strength of your local vocational and career options for students? Look for positive responses to these standards:

1. The local school mission statement recognizes career/vocational education as a valuable service to many college-bound and non-college-bound students.

2. The career focus is placed on all levels of the K-12 programs – -

a. Elementary schools using career-focused stories, readings, field trips.

b. Middle schools providing strong technical (applied) literacy learning opportunities, especially to encourage continued interest in science. Also, providing after-school career exploration options perhaps with the help of local or area vocational centers.

c. High schools providing a broad spectrum of both career exploration and initial skill development on different career paths. NOTE: The number of vocational programs should be adequate to serve students with different talents and interests. There should be technical or science-focused programs, people-focused programs, and traditional trade programs.

d. High school guidance providing help on preference matching between talents and careers.

e. High school vocational programs presenting beneficial articulation with both 2-year and 4-year college programs to reject completely the error of viewing vocational courses as something only for the non-college-bound. That latter stereotype was founded on ignorance of the value of different talent or intelligence areas.

f. High schools providing strong information on and articulated access to apprentice training programs as a viable and important option for graduation.

3. Fiscal support and facilities are maintained on modern and attractive levels for both classical and vocational programs, never allowing one area to play second-fiddle to the other.

4. Local educators and government leaders are working to correct any state and national inattention to the needs and talents of experiential and vocational learners. NOTE: That inattention is evidenced by over-emphasis on written high stakes tests and concurrent outright failure to provide performance evaluation options for highly talented experiential learners under initial implementation of the No Child Left Behind Act. Reasons given for this serious failure are nothing but outright rationalizations to provide excuses for avoiding the work of constructing comprehensive assessment programs. Narrow written tests alone are an “easier” even though cognitively weak option. Can you imagine riding in an airplane with a pilot who has passed a written test but never before actually successfully flown an airplane? At some point in the future a higher quality assessment program must be pursued for the good of students and the good of our nation.

5. Local educators and government leaders work actively to ensure three other realities for quality vocational programs:

a. Secondary vocational programs being protected against misuse such as referral of a disproportionate share of learning disadvantaged students (who often need more effective basic academic programs) or misbehaving students (who can be dangerous to themselves and others in shop situations). NOTE: The mission of vocational schools involves career path selection and preparation. They are not special education schools but, like all schools, can serve their share of special education students. If over-used for the special education purpose, the primary mission is subverted and many talented experiential learners are tragically excluded.

b. Business and industry representatives being kept deeply involved as advisors to and evaluators of all secondary vocational programs. NOTE: This is the path to keeping programs relevant to evolving careers and to having businesses provide special help (internships, equipment, etc.) to an important source of future employees.

c. Secondary vocational programs being given strong annual funding for modernization of teaching youngsters to use equipment no longer used in the real world of work.

If the response to any one of the above basic standards is negative, you have identified an area where corrective action should be taken.

Australia is one of the best places to live. It is a young, vibrant and friendly country. It also has a unique kind of education system which offers and provides paths to suit particular academic requirements.

In 2000, Australia introduced the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000. ESOS ensures that, in order to enroll international students, institutions must first meet requirements for registration. All institutions which meet registration requirements are listed on the publicly available Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

The ESOS legislation provides consumer protection. This means you will receive the tuition for which you have paid, and your fees are protected by law.

Tips For Choosing The Right University

Location:
The location should be selected keeping in mind various factors like cost of living, safety , placements, weather, etc. For ex. London happens to have the highest cost of living. So if funds are important to a student, he might not select a school based in London.

Accreditation and Ranking:
The universities in UK are ranked by various bodies .The rankings are based on the quality of education provided, student satisfaction etc.

Course Accreditation: It is also important to check how accredited is the degree with the particular university that you want to pursue your education from. There are certain courses which are accredited by certain bodies in the UK which should be considered.

Bursaries and Scholarships: Different universities offer different scholarships which in turn helps in reducing the cost of education for international students.

Research Facilities : The research facilities and the laboratory facilities should also be kept in mind while selecting the correct university.

True education extends far beyond the acquisition of knowledge, and is more than vocational training or preparation. Much of modern day forms of advanced education are vocational training that is essentially more or less preparation to qualify a student for entry into a particular career field. This too is oftentimes regarded as education, however, true education, similar to the acquisition of knowledge, is much more than this.

The acquisition of professional or vocational training through institutions of higher learning is driven by the desire or intent to “succeed” in modern society through means of professional advancement and accomplishment. Material effects, tangible results, numbers, and power, however, determine such advances, and forms of professional success. An education that concentrates emphasis on such outcomes, or is in such a way goal orientated, is not in line with what might be referred to as a traditional or classical form of education.

Modern education is easily compared to a business whereby the objective is to teach efficiency according to the capitalist code of social function. In this sense education is being used as a means to a certain end, rather than according to the more classical and traditional intention of aiding an individual in personal development and human growth intended to discipline the mind and ennoble the spirit.

What is typically considered to be education by modern standards is more often than not that which is geared toward success and profit, which translates into social image and status, which is then used to convert social groups into a certain form of belief system. This is not the true definition of education. This is formalized training. Compared to classical subjects such as philosophy, the study of science, medicine, and most recently trade and commerce, or business, as education are relatively new forms of what are commonly accepted as education.

True education, however, transcends all categories and subject areas that are taught, practiced, or trained. It is a way of life. It is an approach to living; a way of thinking and operating that comes from a slow maturation over time. As there are no short cuts in education, it is not so much what you have studied, and what you have learned, so much as it is what your studying and learning has taught you about yourself, life, the human condition, and moral values.

What in modern society is today considered formal education should, ideally, only be considered an introduction to a person’s true education. The pursuit of understanding and the continued application of what one has learned in his or her own life and mode of living are a form of true education. It is something that if continued throughout one’s life carries the potential to yield the most precious results that are to be offered from the pursuit of education itself.

True education is a combination of how a person approaches life, lives their life, values their life, and learns from their life’s experience. Knowledge can be deceiving. True education must involve a form of self-mastery, whereby there exists a result that impacts behavior. The pursuit of knowledge may often be ego-driven, and a side effect of vanity. Knowledge or professional training, regardless of the field, do not necessarily equal education. Education is more a form of behavioral reform that arises from introspection, self-analysis, and understanding, which can only truly take place slowly, over the span of an entire lifetime.

The cost of higher education has been rising significantly faster than the rate of inflation or the growth in family incomes for decades. In the early 1980s tuition and fees began to grow much more rapidly than consumer prices, the cost of attending college rose over three times as fast as median family income. The problem has reached a crisis level today. The Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance indicates that cost factors prevent 48 percent of college-qualified high school graduates from attending a four-year institution, and 22 percent from attending any college at all. The statistics are similarly bleak for middle income students and families. At this rate, by the end of the decade, more than 2 million college-qualified students will be completely denied the opportunity for a postsecondary education.

Obviously this is not the type of information a person desiring to earn a good salary wants to hear. Most people are not eager to saddle themselves with huge amounts of debt in the form of student loans just to get a college degree. So what is the answer? Are there alternatives? Yes, there is vocational and career training.

This type of training is not only specific to the type of career a person chooses but the costs are significantly lower. When a person receives student loans to pay for a college education the amount to be repaid is generally three times more than the actual amount borrowed. In some cases the debt ratio is even higher than 3 to 1. Being loaded down with this much debt poses a real burden for the graduating students. It is even worse for someone who starts their college education but is not able to finish it. Now the person is stuck with large debts and no degree to attempt to get a well-paying job. With career training, the costs are so much lower that when a person completes the training in a matter of months there is no staggering amount of debt to manage. Often times the cost of the training can be paid for before the training has even been completed. Try doing that with college loans!

Not having to worry about how to pay off a student loan frees the student to focus on completing the training as quickly as possible. Upon completion of the training the graduate is now able to market their newly acquired knowledge and skills to multiple employers. Without the pressure of quickly needing to find a job to start paying a student loan, graduates can take their time in choosing the employer that suits their needs best. In other words, a graduate is not so desperate as to take the first job offered due to being in a financial bind. Yes career training is easy on the wallet but big on the future. You can save time and money by getting on a career training path.
